WINE: Quality Nozzles For Wine
Recent Western Cape Business News
A little over two years ago Industrial Nozzles & Systems embarked on an “awareness campaign” to wine producing farms in the Cape provinces.
Almost 650 winemakers across the Western, Eastern and Northern Cape were contacted via marketing media to introduce the company, products offered and services. “We focused primarily on our comprehensive tank cleaning nozzles from Lechler GmbH, which forms a small part of our industrial nozzle range, which comprises of over 20 000 different types. The response to this campaign has been quite phenomenal,” says the company’s Steve Smith.
To date many winemakers or maintenance personnel have contacted INS, with a high number of these requesting the reliable self-driven Whirly Tank Cleaning heads.
Whirly nozzles are effective in cleaning tanks ranging from 3 to 5 meters in diameter. Driven via the liquid cleaning the inner tank surface, there is no need for costly motors or gears.
With low working pressures (further reducing operational costs) the self-propelled, rotating nozzles can use up to four times less water than a ‘traditional’ static spray ball. Lechler self-propelled nozzles can reduce cleaning periods by up to eight times that of the static spray balls.
This is especially evident in larger (+10 000l) tanks.
Industrial Nozzles & Systems has a portable demonstration unit, which is taken to interested wine farms, bottling plants or tank manufacturers to illustrate the functionality and advantages of the Lechler Tank Cleaning nozzle range.
