Recent Western Cape Business News

DAIKIN Air Conditioning South Africa has been awarded with Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) accreditation after just ten years of servicing the South African market.

As a world leader of energy efficient air conditioning systems, Daikin South Africa says it has long since taken its cue from its European affiliates, committing strongly to the environment, and to upholding the highest quality and safety standards as per local and national government regulations, in the South African industry.

With a string of reputable allegiances behind the Daikin brand, it was only a matter of time before Daikin proved their gusto in South Africa’s employment equity sector.

“This is indeed a milestone for us,” says Liam MacKenzie, marketing manager of Daikin South Africa, “since our inception into the market in 1998, we have been humbled by the exponential growth in our customer support base, and in turn have always committed to the continued improvement of our products and company standards. Being recognized as a BEE accredited company is an honour for us, as it forms part of our social commitment regime, which includes providing premium service and job creation in the country,” adds MacKenzie.

“With a BEE certification now firmly under our belt, Daikin South Africa is surging ahead with the expansion of its Daikin Dealer Net-work in Southern Africa, affording customers and end-users the peace of mind they deserve, with exceptional sales service, improved installation and technical backup; not to mention our well established, up-to-the minute after-sales service support,” MacKenzie says.

While employment opportunities and service initiatives are being nurtured, environmental conservation continues to drive the Daikin brand from strength to strength, ensuring customers of innovative air conditioning technology, all year round.

“Energy efficiency, waste conscious and low running costs all come standard with every Daikin product, affording you of a clean, comfortable indoor environment without the eco-damage.”

“It’s no wonder that Daikin Air Conditioners are fast growing as the number one air-con system of choice in South Africa’s commercial industry sector,” says MacKenzie.
