SARENS South Africa, part of the international Sarens group based in Belgium, is now also making its presence felt in Cape Town, where it opened an office last year.
According to branch manager Conrad Caldwell the heavy lift solutions company’s largest Cape-based contract to date has been a four month long project for DCD Dorbyl Marine in the Port of Cape Town, where it assisted in the off-loading of specialised machinery on a ship repair.
The company supplies different types of services, ranging from technical solutions to complete project management. It also offers cranes on operated rent and bare lease rent, using lifting equipment for projects ranging from 1 ton to 2 000 tons. Cranes and specialised ‘tackle’ are also sourced from reputable local and international suppliers when necessary.
