Owing to escalating demand for information on the subject, the Southern African Light Steel Frame Building Association (SASFA), is presenting a training course in Cape Town for builders of Light Steel Frame structures.

The course, aimed at new as well as practising Light Steel Frame builders, covers all aspects of Light Steel Frame Building including the properties of steel, manufacturing of steel frames and how they are set out and erected, installation of external cladding and internal lining, insulation and services.

The six-day course – 25 to 30 October – will be presented by SASFA in collaboration with Saint-Gobain, Everite and Light Frame Homes.

SASFA director John Barnard says some of SA’s leading experts on the subject will be doing the training.
