PROPERTY: Property Management - the Skies the Limit
Recent Western Cape Business News
Spire Property Management has secured the management contract for the soon to be developed Execujet Business Centre at the Cape Town International Airport.
“Spire will handle the property management of the office tower,” explains Marc Edwards, General Manager of Spire. “This exciting new development is located alongside the existing airport terminal buildings and will consist of a 7000m2 office tower and two large hangers, one of which will house executive jets and the other helicopters. Construction is scheduled for completion in April 2009, and tenants will be from the aviation industry.
“Intersect Sectional Title Services, a subsidiary of Spire, will be handling the sectional title administration for the development, ensuring that the body corporate is set up correctly from the start in order to minimise possible problems going forward.”
“Our management team will be involved with the development of the Execujet Business Park right from the beginning”, says Edwards. “This allows the developer to trouble shoot potential management issues which may occur down the line, and pro-actively address them for the benefit of their clients.”
Spire remains one of the leading providers of property asset management services with a growing network of clients and management contracts.
“This is a great new contract for Spire and we are confident that by using the combined services of our commercial property and sectional title divisions we will be able to add value to the development,” concludes Bruce Kerswill, Managing Director of Spire.
