Following the successful launch of the revamped Soaring Hawk flagship restaurant at the new shopping concourse at Cape Town International Airport, Spur Steak Ranches has opened two new restaurants in the Western Cape.
Spur is now closer to home for Gugulethu and Southern Suburbs residents.
The new 400m2 Amitola Spur Steak Ranch at Gugs Square seats 200 patrons. “Guguthlethu is an important market for Spur Steak Ranches and Gugs Square is a significant development as the first shopping mall for the community. We are excited to be part of this retail development,” said Spur’s Group Managing Director Pierre van Tonder.
Cavendish’s 380m2 Ottawa Spur Steak Ranch - a signature design restaurant - will seat up to 280 patrons. Both restaurants will boast play areas synonymous with the Spur brand and will trade seven days a week.
The Spur Group currently has 312 outlets in South Africa and abroad. In addition to the new Western Cape Spur Steak Ranches, a series of new franchised restaurants are opening over the next three months at various locations throughout South Africa including Amazimtoti (KwaZulu-Natal), Klerksdorp (North West), Woodlands and Gallo Manor (both Gauteng).
