ROCLA, South Africa’s leading manufacturer and suppliers of precast concrete products for infrastructure continues to meet the challenge of the ongoing expansion and upgrade projects currently being undertaken by the provincial government and many local authorities in the Western Cape.
As the sole patented manufacturer and supplier of the C.A.C( Calcium Aluminates Cement) lined sewer products in Southern Africa, Rocla is playing a prominent role in meeting the sewerage reticulation requirements involved in these developments.
Among major sewerage contracts the company has carried out recently or is currently engaged in are; the 1.7 km long Fisantekraal mainline gravity sewer at Durbanville with its specially designed, one piece manhole chimneys; the Paarl Waste Water Treatment works, in which Rocla designed a unique system to accommodate the challenging flow requirements by creating curved bends of up to 90 degrees within as little as three pipe lengths; and the Bellville Waste Water Treatment works.
Rocla Blackheath, the company’s branch in Cape Town that played a direct role in winning these and other contracts and attends to all requirements for precast concrete products in the province, stocks a diverse range that includes culverts, pipes, poles and manholes.
