ENDRESS+Hauser has announced the launch of a dosing system that controls and optimises the filling process of flowmeter-based filling machines in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industries.
The dosing system was developed in response to market demand for more flexible filling solutions, enhanced speed and accuracy, optimisation of production, ease of integration and increased hygiene requirements.
The dosing system seamlessly integrates with Endress+Hauser Batchline flowmeters, and is suitable for rotary and line fillers. The system offers various digital communication interfaces and is easily adaptable to meet specific customer requirements.
The system was designed with modularity and accuracy in mind – offering users higher productivity due to higher throughput, less wastage due to tighter filling tolerances, and less downtime as overspills are prevented with the patented air bubble detection solution.
Additional benefits include self-learning functions and continuous self-monitoring of the system. This ensures fast commissioning and tight control of filling accuracy which leads to consistent product quality throughout the machine’s life cycle.
The Endress+Hauser dosing system includes standard features such as filing time and pressure control, control and automatic correction of fill quantity per nozzle, valve and flowmeter status monitoring per nozzle, manual operating mode, local operator panel, and Profibus DP slave interface.
